On February 28, 2026, Yekaterinburg hosted the opening stage of the 2026 PRS Lite season, held at the central sniper direction of the Sverdlovsky range, with stages set from 150 to 600 meters. The match was organized by the Archangel Michael Precision Shooting Club.

PRS Lite represents the second of three tiers within the PRS competition system focused on shooting from unstable positions, conducted under the rules of the International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF).

And once again, ZOV made its presence known.

Competing with a ZOV rifle, our shooter Nikita Akinshin claimed 1st place in the Open Semi-Automatic category.

But that was only part of the story.

In the overall leaderboard Nikita finished 2nd, outrunning a large number of competitors shooting bolt-action rifles — a particularly strong performance for a semi-automatic platform in a discipline traditionally dominated by bolt guns.

It’s also worth noting that this is not the first strong result for our shooters this season: ZOV rifles in the hands of LOBAEV ARMS team members have already secured podium finishes in PRS Lite and PRS 600 matches earlier this year, once again demonstrating the performance and reliability of our systems.

Congratulations to Nikita on an outstanding performance, and we wish our team continued success in the upcoming matches of the season!
